Its our local councils van. we have a team of 3 men employed to
keep our village tidy. The men work like busy bees keeping the place tidy.
This is 'The Green' It is mentioned in the Magna Carta
book. King John, gave 'The Green' a Kings protection. On 'The Green,' stocks were displayed in the
early 14th century. Today, it is still a protected piece of land. At the centre of 'The Green' is a monument
erected for the history of local coal mines.
